THE u3a MOVEMENT
The u3a movement is worldwide. It is one of the largest volunteer organisations in the UK, with over 40,000+ interest groups held every week, 1,040 local u3a's in the UK and more than 430,00 members. For more information about the u3a organisation please click on the u3a tab in the navigation menu
Important Information
The Ru3a welcomes its members to become involved in the running of the organisation.
We are currently seeking any members who would be interested in joining a Fundraising or a Publicity Working Party. It is hoped that these working parties would share the workload and further develop these areas for our u3a.
Members wishing to have a more active role in the running of Rotherham u3a can join as a Trustee or as a participating or non-participating observer. If the roles appeal then members can be proposed to become Trustees.

Rotherham u3a
Rotherham u3a started in 1994 with just a few interest groups and has grown steadily over the years. We now have 38 interest groups and over 460 members and are delighted to say that this year we celebrate our 30th Anniversary.
