The Job Spot Page now has Role Descriptions, can you help with any of these?
Get Involved - We need your knowledge, skill and experience.
All U3As are encouraged to refresh their Trustee/Committee board. We would encourage our Rotherham members to consider how they can contribute to the running of our organisation.
50% of the Trustees will stand down this year. For Ru3a to continue to exist we need candidates for some of the essential roles, including, Chair, Vice Chair and Secretary. All trustee posts are re-elected every year at the AGM, so you can apply for any position on the board. No experience is necessary and you don't have to take on the whole role, there are lots of opportunities to help in other ways by providing support to the teams; assistance is welcome with even the simplest tasks.
If you feel that you can help then please inform any trustee who will be able to give you more details.
If we fail to fill these posts then Rotherham u3a will cease to exist as a registered charity so please get involved if you are able to do so.
If you choose to get involved you will be given support and an induction regarding process and procedure to help you learn the role. Ideally you will be deputy of a specific role for a period and then upon agreement with yourself and the Trust/Committee Board you will be proposed for a role at the Annual General Meeting and expected to keep that role for 1 to 3 years.
