The group is embarked upon and is making progress with their own individual choice of project. With a little skill, some fabrics, a variety of threads and a good measure of enthusiasm a great deal may be attempted, even for the uninitiated beginner, resulting in an individual successful creational piece of work. If there is a willingness to experiment with embroidery in all its different aspects – that is with materials, threads and beads, design and technique – then a very exciting medium can be realised.

It often takes less time to accomplish a simple but effective pattern and texture using machine embroidery threads which are manufactured specially in a wide palette of colours to achieve a pleasing result.
