Get fit playing Walking Netball. Netball is the biggest female team sport in England. The walking version of the game is played to approved England Netball rules, and is growing in popularity. It's great exercise, very enjoyable and helps to develop core strength, improving balance and reaction times.

u3a YORK FESTIVAL - WALKING FOOTBALL and WALKING NETBALL Groups

Rotherham u3a members attended the National u3a Festival on Friday 19 July at the York University Campus.  On what was the hottest day of the year so far, the Walking Football did the Rotherham u3a proud and performed really well.

Our very own Sue Cable entered and won the penalty shootout competition, her training with grandkids on the back lawn proved invaluable.  The Walking Netball ladies played an enjoyable 2 sessions of Walking Netball alongside visitors from other u3as around the country.  A good day out thoroughly enjoyed by all.
