THE u3a MOVEMENT
The u3a movement is worldwide. It is one of the largest volunteer organisations in the UK, with over 40,000+ interest groups held every week, There are 1 040 local u3a's in the UK and more than 430 000 members. Important Information
The Ru3a welcomes its members to become involved in the running of the organisation.
We are currently seeking any members who would be interested in joining a Publicity or Fundraising Working Party or anyone with web development and/or IT skills. It is hoped that these working parties or any additional support would help with sharing the workload and further develop these areas for our u3a.
Members wishing to have a more active role in the running of Rotherham u3a can join as a Trustee or as a participating or non-participating observer. If the roles appeal then members can be proposed to become Trustees.

Rotherham u3a
Rotherham u3a started in 1994 with just a few interest groups and has grown steadily over the years. We now have over 30 face-to-face interest groups and over 400 members and are delighted to say that this year we recently celebrated our 30th Anniversary.
