| 1st October is the UN’s International Day of Older People (IDOP). The day aims to highlight the opportunities and challenges faced by ageing populations, and calls on wider society to address difficulties faced by older people. Older adults play an integral part in strengthening our communities; as workers, carers, volunteers, activists and connectors, and help foster a strong sense of belonging across generations. Find out more about how local communities are marking IDOP and how you can join in on 1st October. |
