We have tried to include a mix of shorter and longer walks to try to accommodate everyone's abilities. We will continue to map additional walks, however, suggestions for walks are always welcome. If you have a favourite walk please share with us. This is your group, if anyone would like to plan or lead a walk or have more involvement with organising the group and walks please let us know.
Click the links below to be taken to the maps and route cards which also include a height profile for most routes, to help you decide if the route is for you. It is possible to cut some of the routes short for those who can't quite manage the distance, e.g. the Minster View walk is one of the longer walks but it could be walked one way and catch the tram or bus back to Meadowhall.
It has been suggested that a few people would like to do longer walks further afield, however we don't want to change the current ethos of the Strollers; therefore if this would be interest to anyone we could investigate either adding extra walks on the intermediate Saturdays or maybe mid-week. If this would be of interest please let us know.
It is anticipated that our walks will generally meet at 9.50am on alternate Saturdays with a view to setting off at 10.00am. We do encourage car sharing where possible to share the cost but also to reduce the number of cars needing parking space at the venue.
